The 2 ounce hummingbird feeder is composed of a non-toxic, non-breakable plastic container measuring 2-1/2 inches tall by 2 inches wide. It is lightweight, easy to fill and clean. Make nectar by completely dissolving one part sugar into four parts water. Do NOT add food coloring, honey, or ANY other sweetener. Fill feeder 2/3 full. Do not over/under tighten the lid. The feeder should hang at a 45-degree angle. Excess food can be refrigerated for up to a week. Change nectar and clean feeder every 3-4 days. The top can be gently cleaned with a toothbrush if needed or soaked in dilute bleach solution if it becomes moldy. Clean the feeding hole with a pipe cleaner or mascara brush. To store, bend the wire over the top of the feeder. Remember your feeder top is handcrafted from clay and can be damaged!
